Magnetohydrodynamic Simulations of Spicular Jet Propagation Applied to Lower Solar Atmosphere Model

چکیده

Abstract We report a series of numerical experiments for the propagation momentum pulse representing chromospheric jet, simulated using an idealized magnetohydrodynamic model. The jet in stratified lower solar atmosphere is subjected to varied initial driver (amplitude, period) and magnetic field conditions examine parameter influence over morphology kinematics. captured key observed spicule characteristics including maximum heights, field-aligned mass motions/trajectories, cross-sectional width deformations. Next, features also show prominent bright, bulb-like apex, similar reported jets, formed due higher density plasma and/or waves. Furthermore, simulations highlight presence not yet internal crisscross/knots substructures generated by shock waves reflected within structure. Therefore we suggest verifying these predicted fine-scale structures highly localized atmospheric e.g., spicules or fibrils high-resolution observations, offered Daniel K. Slow magnetohydrodynamic waves in the solar atmosphere.

There is increasingly strong observational evidence that slow magnetoacoustic modes arise in the solar atmosphere, either as propagating or standing waves. Sunspots, coronal plumes and coronal loops all appear to support slow modes. Here we examine theoretically how the slow mode may be extracted from the magnetohydrodynamic equations, considering the special case of a vertical magnetic field i...

General Relativistic Magnetohydrodynamic Simulations of Jet Formation and Large-Scale Propagation from Black Hole Accretion Systems

The formation and large-scale propagation of Poynting-dominated jets produced by accreting, rapidly rotating black hole systems are studied by numerically integrating the general relativistic magnetohydrodynamic equations of motion to follow the selfconsistent interaction between accretion disks and black holes. This study extends previous similar work by studying jets till t ≈ 10GM/c out to r ...

Alfvén waves in the lower solar atmosphere.

The flow of energy through the solar atmosphere and the heating of the Sun's outer regions are still not understood. Here, we report the detection of oscillatory phenomena associated with a large bright-point group that is 430,000 square kilometers in area and located near the solar disk center. Wavelet analysis reveals full-width half-maximum oscillations with periodicities ranging from 126 to...

Jet Snake Magnetohydrodynamic Equilibria

Magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) equilibrium states with a three-dimensional helical core that display the characteristics of a saturated ideal internal kink mode are computed to model snake structures that have been observed in the JET tokamak (Weller et al 1987 Phys. Rev. Lett. 59 2303). The equilibrium states are calculated with a peaked pressure profile and a weak to moderate reversed core magneti...
